My muse took a vacation ... the truth is, I'm back to work full-time and it's been somewhat of a struggle. I'm still having bad days where I just want to stay in bed and sleep.

It's been one helluva weekend ...

Got an email from my little sister in the US saying that our mom had a bad cough. By the time I got through to my dad (3 am here), things had progressed ... he told me she was going in for a heart operation the next day at 7 am (CST).

I don't want to know what my phone bills (home and mobile) are going to look like

Mom is now recovering nicely. I'm just trying to get my body used to keeping normal hours after spending 4 days trying to live on US time.

Can't remember anything - just want to sleep. Can't seem to focus my mind.

The doctor tells me it's all part of the depression and I will get better. That's what they told me in September ... I'm not being a very patient patient.

Have been "playing" with Apophysis 2.x and the 3D hack ... when I'm feeling up to it, I'll give the images a little pp and upload them.

Honest. I am. I am not sitting at my computer lost, mesmerised by Apophysis.

By the same token, I was not up until 5am playing online Scrabble while waiting for a render to finish. I'm far too sensible for that sort of thing.

Tomorrow, it's back to the office ... until 3 ... then I can return home to my hubby, my cats, and fractals.

I should be doing laundry, washing dishes, and doing errands in town ... but XenoDream is calling and I need to download Apophysis (and make an honest effort at learning to use it ...).
